Aukstaitija National Park was founded in 1974. At present the total area of the park is 40,570 hectares. The park is located nearly 100 km to the north of Vilnius, and roughly 170 km to the north east of Kaunas.

Labanoras Regional Park

The biggest in Lithuania Labanoras regional park was established in 1992. Total area of the park-50 000 ha. This park is situated in the eastern part of Lithuania- in Svencioniai, Moletai and Utena regions, in the watershed of the rivers Zeimena ir Sventoji, 80 km from Vilniaus.

In a restored 16th-19th century building, you will find this new 4-star business class hotel and restaurant, near the Town Hall and in the confluence of the largest Lithuanian rivers. Situated in the old town of Kaunas, the hotel is close to significant historical monuments and places of interest, including Town Hall Square, Thunder House, the Church of Vytautas The Great and Kaunas Castle, as well as museums and the town centre, with the famous Liberty Avenue. When approaching the hotel, you will find an old town street with street lamps and an outdoor cafe. There are 2 buildings - the newly built one and the authentic antique one, joined with a glass roof. The 16th century basements, with frescos, are occupied by 3 restaurant halls. The hotel also has a large modern conference hall, holding up to 120 people, and the Flambe conference hall for up to 30 people.
