Fishing in Kursiu Nerija
The Curonian Lagoon and the Klaipeda Channel are the best places for amateur fishing. Prevalent fish species here are common bream (Abramis brama), perch (Perca fluviatilis), pike-perch (Stizostedion lucioperca), roach (Rutilus rutilus), vimba (Vimba vimba) etc. In spring, fishermen go for the Baltic herring (Clupea harengus membras) in the Klaipeda Channel.
